The difficult first post!

So introductions first. My name’s Rachel, I am 31, engaged to the man of my dreams and i’m obese.

Urgh that sounds awful.

After a lifetime of trying to embrace my ‘curveyness’ and ‘own who I am’ after stepping on the scales at the start of this journey and seeing 17 stone 7 (247 lbs for any stray American’s amongst you) I can’t deny it any longer. If you’ve read my first post you will know that I started at 17st 7lbs (247lbs). The date of the first weigh in was Wednesday 19th November and on that day I took my first ever progress pictures. Obviously at that time I didn’t have an idea that I would be sharing these with the world so I chose to wear hideous leopard print pants and a black sports bra – now the world is stuck with this image and i apologise for my poor fashion choice that morning!

Ok deep breath. Here are those first pictures in all their hideous glory…
